The new version of a German export hit
The Germans are known for their ornaments-lasting cuckoo clocks. The designer Tobias Reischle designed a coeval new interpretation - a cuckoo clock which is reduced on it's minimalistic shell/frame.
By the way: also the Museum of Modern Art in New York offers the "German cuckoo clock" in the MoMA-Store.
The design is new - everything else is still the same
The modern cuckoo clock is manufactured in the Black Forest with original pieces – mechanic-one-day clockwork, Black Forest's cuckoo clock flutes and a painted wood cuckoo.
Besides the here offered black cuckoo clock, the clock is also available in red with a white core.
The manufacturer suggests fixing the clock at a minimum height of 1.80 m.
