Water is poured into the lower part, and a metal part with the espresso powder is placed on top. As soon as the water begins to boil, water vapour is formed which is slowly pressed through the ground coffee at high pressure to unfold again in the upper chamber as a delicious espresso. The brewing process is so efficient that the valuable aroma substances are extracted from the ground coffee, producing a wonderful coffee - the espresso!
As protection against excessive pressure, the jug has a valve that releases steam in the lower chamber if the pressure is too high.
The design of the Chambord dinner press stove is typical for Chambord in a simple and classic stainless steel look.
All parts are dishwasher safe and suitable for all types of cookers - but please note the following for induction cookers: The diameter of the hob used must match the diameter of the base of the espresso maker as closely as possible. If the difference is too great, the pot detection function is not activated on some induction cooker systems and the hob is not operated.
