Approved pan collection
The pan series Tools was designed in 1988 by Björn Dahlström and still satisfies with its heat conducting feature for all kinds of stoves. A professional pan for sautéing, appropriate for all passionate (hobby) chefs.
Heat conducting steel pan
The Iittala sauté pan consists of a composite material made from steel and aluminum.
The pan has an inner and outer layer of steel that enclose a core of aluminum. The core enables the pan to heat up very quickly and conducts the heat in an ideal way.
Professional pan for quick fried dishes
The frying pans of the Tools collection were designed together with several chefs to perfection the design of the professional pans with the help of their knowledge about the material and their experience.
The sauté pan has a high rim and therefore is especially made for searing at hight temperatures without too much mess on the hub. Meat, vegetables and fish can cook a little longer thanks to the pan's lid.
The Iittala sauté pan is a high-quality kitchen tool to make cooking more fun.
In order to be able to enjoy the premium design of the Tools pan as long as possible, it is recommendable to only use wooden cooking tools for cooking and frying. They go easy on the material and avoid unnecessary scratches.
