The Christmas figures from A di Alessi spread Christmas-like moods and bring the modern world of the classic porcelain and Christmas figures closer. The idea for the beloved figures emerged during studies and researches in the 1990s: The tradition-rich porcelain figures should be revitalized out of the 18th century Europe and brought into the 21st century by means of modern technologies.
The comic artist Massimo Giacon is responsible for the development of the Christmas figures. With a lot of humor and a characteristic comic-style, Giacon and A di Alessi gave a new direction to the porcelain figures and overcome the function-less and dusty image which is often glued at porcelain figures with it.
Each one of the A di Alessi figures is hand-decorated and spreads Christmas feelings, without acting antiquated.
