Ceramic bowl with colour gradient
The Herringbone Bowl by Vitra is a design by Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer, who work together under the name Raw-Edges. Fascinated by beautiful colour gradients, the couple developed the Herringbone series, consisting of ceramic objects with a gentle colour accent. The Herringbone bowl is part of the collection and is characterized by its decorative appearance. The bowl is made of ceramic, which is then dipped into a coloured glaze. Through repetition different nuances and an irregularity are created, which becomes an absolute eye-catcher.
The bowl can be used for decorative purposes and for serving snacks, muesli and other dishes. In addition to the bowl, a vase and a tray in the same style are also available.
