"Futura" is the name of the first Mobile that was designed by Ole Flensted (Christian Flensted's son).
The design of the Futura Mobile has its origin in the year 1970. It is basically based on six arches that create a dynamic tension through the light and heavy end-points that are fixed at the borders.
The mobile leaves enough space for individual interpretation: six planets with their moons? Or a symbol of the bright and dark sides of life?
Futura by Flensted Mobiles also offers a game with materials. It is made out of steel, beech wood and plastic spheres.
