Versatile stool made from steel wire
The Wire Hocker VP11 from & Tradition embodies Verner Panton's preference for geometric shapes and wire as a visual element. Wire was originally launched on the market in 1981. The new edition of the lightweight, stackable stool also serves as a versatile side table.
Panton, who was known for his avant-garde ideas, set new standards by exploring industrial materials such as steel wire - a departure from the predominant use of wood in Danish design. Wire, a recurring theme in Panton's career, played a central role in his innovative approach to design and enabled him to design previously unthinkable creations.
