A Stool mixing Modernism and Tradition
The Roy stool is a sitting furniture by Alessandro Mendini for Kartell, which mixes a modern, radical design with tradition. Mendini takes up the form of Chinese stools and decorated them with graphic patterns that are reminiscent of the works of Roy Lichtenstein. It's this New York artist who gave the stool its name.
Side table, Seat, Bedside Table and Flower Stand
The stool finely processed by Kartell doesn't only invite to sit down on it occasionally, but it can also be a nightstand by the bed or a flower stool and side table next to the sofa. The stool is made from dyed-through thermoplastic technopolymer and is a real eye-catcher in the versions of neon green and orange. For those who prefer it rather simple can choose the versions in black and white.
The Crystal Palace wall clock also designed by Alessandro Mendini for Kartell is the perfect complement to the stool.
