Artemide made the maybe most famous desk lamp of our days with the Tolomeo. The Demetra picks this historical heritage up and takes it to contemporaneous times.
With the Demetra LED table lamp, the Italian manufacturer Artemide proves that it is rightly considered an innovative pioneer. Artemide designed the Demetra table lamp together with the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, delighting with minimalism, function, efficiency and intelligence.
The dimmable Demetra is ideally suitable to be used for work with its brightness of 600 lumen. The slim, adjustable arms and the flexibility of the lamp's head are freely movable because of the cords mechanism, similar to the one in the classic Tolomeo. The design is still independent, since the reduced silhouette cites the legendary Tolomeo without imitating it.
The Artemide Demetra is also usable in the living room because of its 3000 Kelvin that spread pleasantly warm light. Artemide produces the minimalistic table lamp out of lacquered aluminium. The edition with presence sensor has one specialty: After 12 minutes of absence the light is switched off automatically.
