Swing for indoor and outdoor use
The garden swing BK13 was designed in 1959 by Bodil Kjaer as part of a series for indoor and outdoor use. The rocking sofa by Carl Hansen is made of solid teak wood and suspended with knotted ropes. The wood can withstand harsh weather conditions, while the comfort and timeless shape of the swing are also good for indoor use.
The Danish architect was inspired by the series of cubist forms and the architecture and nature of the garden at that time. The precise, streamlined shape of the sofa can also be found in the other furniture in the series. This makes it look timeless and elegant and makes it an absolute eye-catcher in a niche next to the pool, for example.
Even more comfortable is the 151 cm long swing with the matching support from Carl Hansen. The cushion is made of weatherproof Sunbrella fabric. An A-frame, which is also available separately, ensures simple hanging.
