Classic cantilever chair for outdoor use
The S 533 N chair in Thonet's All Seasons version is a cantilever chair for outdoor use and a true classic in Bauhaus style. The chair was already designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927, after he had been inspired by the principle of the cantilever chair by Mart Stam at the Weißenhof exhibition. He took the cantilever chair as a model and extended it with technologically innovative elements with their very own design language.
The elegantly curved shape of the tubular steel distinguishes the design of the chair and makes it unmistakable. The tubular steel is specially machined so that the chair can also be used perfectly outdoors. The mesh fabric on the backrest and seat is also UV-resistant, which keeps the colour and material for a long time. The chair cuts an excellent figure in the garden or on the terrace and can be wonderfully combined with other garden furniture from Thonet's All Seasons.
Comfort is provided not only by the mesh fabric, but also by the permanently elastic suspension. The construct is therefore slightly flexible and adapts perfectly to body movements. Comfort, functionality and aesthetics are harmoniously combined to create a timeless chair for both exterior and interior use.
