Connox offers purchasing on invoice for Austria and Switzerland

Just in time for the Christmas shopping the interior design shop Connox offers purchasing on invoice as payment method for customers from the neighbouring countries Austria and Switzerland. The online shop enlarges the large repertoire of payment methods - among them prepayment with discount, credit card, PayPal and Sofortüberweisung (immediate transfer) with the option of purchasing on invoice.

"Buying gifts is especially important during the pre-Christmas-season. Our customers from Austria and Switzerland are able to pay after they received their goods, comfortably by choosing the invoice payment method", explained the manager of Connox Thilo Haas about the leap of faith given to the Austrian and Swiss customers. Purchasing on invoice is very popular among German customers.

Strengthening the ROOF region

Connox wants to reinforce the business in the ROOF region with the new service. The online shop opened an Austrian home design shop under www.connox.at in the course of the internationalisation. A domain for Switzerland is following in 2016. "Purchasing on invoice was a logical consequence for us for Austria and Switzerland," explains Thilo Haas, "We wanted to approach the terms of purchasing in the ROOF region and increase the trust of customers of the neighboring regions."

This strategy may work: Customer surveys of the company confirm that an approach in terms of purchasing demands in the ROOF region is completely harmonizing with the voice of Austrian and Swiss customers. Invoice purchases are required. And: 50 percent of the respondents would cancel a purchase from too little or the wrong types of payment.
