Bower is a contemporary design studio in New York City, founded in 2013 by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi. While Danny studied industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Tammer has extensive knowledge in the field of wood technology and design.
The joint design studio is a venue for experiments - the goal is to create unique and unexpected objects. The designers draw their inspiration from different items or situations such as nature, where they observe animals and plants, or childhood toys, adding entirely new functions.
By the way, the name of their design studio "Bower" comes from the bowerbird, a male bird. This bird grows a beautiful and striking bower during the mating season.
