Enrico Franzolini, born in Udine in 1952, studied architecture at the University of Florence and in Venice. Already in 1972 he has been invited to the 36th Biennial in Venice for decorative Art with two objects out of glass. The 1978 in the Galleria Plurima in Udine made single-exposition characterizes his passage to the minimal, architectural research work. Parallel to his work as an artist, he developed his work in architecture and industrial design.
Together with the Spanish designer Vicente Garcia Jumenez, Enrico Franzolini for example designed the Big Bang Pendant Lamp for Foscarini.
