Marta Sansoni was born in Florence in 1963. After studying architecture at the University of Florence, she worked there from 1990 to 1998 as an Assistant to Professor Remo Buti and later founded her own design studio in Florence.
Sansoni designs items that are primarily intended for the private sector, as business decorations, outlets and interior furnishings. In addition to numerous exhibitions of her objects, you can find her name in important design books.
"I imagine objects that are unobtrusive despite their strong formal features. Objects that were manufactured to meet current needs, but that invite you to contemplate beyond their use. Objects that can be integrated into a domestic environment without being too self-indulgent, arrogant and pretentious. Objects that we never grow tired of or are afraid of touching."
