Povl Bjerregaard Eskildsen was born in Denmark in 1954. He spent a lot of time in the furniture manufacture of his father when he was a young boy, he says that there is where his knowledge about furniture design came from.
With this knowledge in the back head, Eskildsen finished his furniture design studies at the Aarhus School of Architecture in 1986. Since then he works as a freelance designer in his own studio Aarhus.
Meanwhile Povl Bjerregaard Eskildsen worked together with diverse internationally recognized companies and received diverse awards along his career. Furthermore he is represented in many publications.
