Walter Schnepel is a Senior Manager of the German manufacturer Tecnolumen. The Bremen-based is the only company worldwide to hold a license for producing the famous Bauhaus lamp by Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
As an advocate for good design, Walter Schnepel also designs products that pay tribute to the tradition of great classics of modernism. In doing so, the ambitious art collector looks back onto many years of experience in the arts, culture and design.
Walter Schnepel founded the company Tecnolumen in 1980. Initially, the Bremen-based company specialised on the Wagenfeld lamp, but today they also produce several Bauhaus classics as well as new designs that are nonetheless unified by two characteristics: the classic modern design and the uncompromising high quality.
