Yuue Design

Berlin Design Studio

Yuue is a design studio in Berlin that was founded by Weng Xinyu and Tao Haiyue in 2015. Both come from China and graduated from the Bauhaus-University in Weimar.

The duo is mainly interested in creating everyday objects, where the human-object relationship is always the focus of their work. This is how lighting, furniture, tableware, office accessories, electrical appliances as well as artistic installations are created to redefine contemporary aesthetics.
Weng Xinyu especially, draws his inspiration from everyday life, his cultural background, and his passion for technology, which is always evident in the Yuue designs.

The team's designs have been presented at numerous design fairs and celebrated its first successes with the nomination of the Balancer floor lamp for the German Design Award 2018.
