pattern with cute leopard and clouds
The Kaksoset pattern by Marimekko is a motif designed by Maija Isola, featuring cute leopards with little clouds in the background. Predominant colors like beige and burgundy add to the wild, African-inspired flair of the motif and create an animal-cute look. What's especially nice is that many of the Kaksoset products have different colored sides, so that their appearance can be varied as desired.
Kaksoset means "twins" in Finnish and refers to the almost identical leopards that can be seen on bed linen, mugs, scarves and blankets by Marimekko. Artist Maija Isola already picked up the pattern in paintings and other fabrics.
