Sebra - interior for kids
The name Sebra stands for high-quality design - children's furniture and accessories for children and their children's made in Denmark. The company was founded in 2004 by Mia Dela, who has completed a degree in design at the university of Kolding. She worked one year as an hired designer before founding her own label.
Dela got the idea for a design company, producing only children's furniture and accessories, while she wanted to set up the children's room of her son Gustav. She noted that there were no furniture, accessories or toys to buy that met her standards of quality and design. She decided to start her own design studio for children's furniture. The collection of Sebra ranges from the dresser to the bed, towels and dishes for children and includes about a hundred products. More than 20 employees who are parents of almost twice as many children, are constantly working on new designs and series for children in Denmark and around the world.
Sebra design - Danish handicrafts and natural materials
The style of Sebra focuses strongly on the traditional, Danish handicraft and combines strong colours with sound techniques such as crochetings and knotted products. A part of the Sebra baby and children's products have been manufactured under organic criteria and support local projects in the countries where the products are sold. Natural materials such as wood, wool and cotton are the main components of the collection and are handled by hand. Materials that stimulate the imagination of children and meet the desire of parents for quality and creativity.
The Kili collection combines various Sebra furniture for children of the same style - it includes the Sebra Baby & Jr. Bed , the matching Kili mattress and a baby's changing unit. Beyond the Sebra children's furniture, there are many other accessories that make the nursery a paradise for games and playing and tidying up a breeze.
