Dutch outdoor manufacturer
The Dutch company Weltevree was founded in 2007 by designer and entrepreneur Floris Schoonderbeek and manufactures innovative products in collaboration with established and emerging designers. At Weltevree the name says it all. Floris Schoonderbeek explains: "Weltevree stands for well-being ("wel") and satisfaction ("tevree") with one's own environment. Old Dutch farms often bear this name. It's about a feeling of domesticity: where you just feel comfortable."
Weltevree products contribute to a comfortable environment and invite interaction. Only when the products are actually used do they really come into their own and encourage you to explore your own surroundings and discover them in a new way. Weltevree does not only focus on the visual appearance, but also on the experience gained during use, which is an integral part of the designs.
Sustainability and longevity are also important points in the development of products made of fair materials. A transparent manufacturing process is therefore just as important at Weltevree as the design and the innovative aspect.
