Bauhaus coffee pot by Walter Gropius
The TAC coffee pot from Rosenthal was designed by the Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and is part of the porcelain series of the same name. Puristic, geometric shapes characterise the design of the tableware series and embody the Bauhaus charm in a special and timeless way. Walter Gropius, world-famous founder of the Bauhaus, brought the dogmas and maxims of classical modernism to the table exclusively for Rosenthal. A coveted classic that experiences its perfection with the TAC line - as a complete food, coffee and tea service.
Gropius relied on the simple geometric forms. In his sense, the circle and the sphere remain the shaping elements of the TAC Gropius panel set by Rosenthal. The TAC Gropius Tafelset is the result of close cooperation between the Rosenthal Creative Center and the Bauhaus Foundation in Dessau. The technical cooperation made it possible for this extended programme to do justice to the great creative skills of Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius.
