New Norm dishes
The Norm Architects 2011 collective designed the New Norm tableware series in co-operation with the Copenhagen restaurant Cofoco. Bowls and plates with a Nordic flair. Known from the design restaurant Höst in Copenhagen, the puristic tableware is a special highlight in the kitchen and on the dining table.
Porcelain plates with watercolour look
The New Standard plates by Menu combine a pure design with traditional elements. Varnish in different colours is burned into the porcelain at 1400 °C, giving the plates a very unique look. Because of the traditional burning process, no plate looks like another.
The colours of the plates inspire us with soft tones and a slight shine, which is reminiscent of typical watercolours and gives the menu dishes its characteristic, Nordic look.
In combination with rustic wooden tables - like with the design of the restaurant Höst - the New Norm plates make us think about holidays by a lake. The plates are particularly special for a barbecue in the garden or for breakfast indoors.
