The TAC teapot by Walter Gropius is part of the tableware series of the same name. The design of the teapot is based on geometric shapes: Circles and bullets. Slightly angular details provide an eye-catcher and complete the design.
In addition to the classic tableware in white, the TAC tableware with decors is available in various colours.
In addition to the classic white version, the teapot is also available with the Stripes 2. 0 decor for the Bauhaus anniversary. The stripe pattern is a tribute to Walter Gropius and his work at the Bauhaus. Fine, filigree lines on white porcelain characterise the decor and create a new modern urban look that is an eye-catcher on any laid breakfast or coffee table.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus the TAC series by Walter Gropius gets a new coat of paint with Rhythm. The decor was created by British designer Bethan Laura Wood, who is known for her experimental designs and expressive colours. Rhythm is reminiscent of overlapping warp and weft threads in the production of textiles. This gives the strict form of the TAC tableware a playful, colourful touch. Wood was inspired for her pattern by the expressive weaving works of Anni Albers, who studied at the Bauhaus from 1922.
Made of porcelain, the jug can be easily used in the microwave and after use simply cleaned in the dishwasher. With a capacity of 600 ml you can enjoy 2-3 cups of fresh tea in the morning or afternoon in style.
