Artful pendant lamp with nine ellipses

The Copernico 500 LED pendant lamp by Artemide is an ideal addition to the wall lamp of the same product range. Copernico consists of nine concentric ellipses made from a single aluminum plate on which a circuit board with 384 white LEDs is attached. The ellipses can rotate independently around two different axes. This enables the individual alignment of the light beam in order to keep creating new configurations in the room. When closed, the lamp takes on a perfectly flat shape.

Due to its flexible design, the Copernico 500 LED pendant luminaire can be used for various lighting situations. In a closed, flat form, it emits direct light, for example, to illuminate a dining table or can be used upwards as a "ceiling washer". When open, Copernico 500 LED emits diffuse, warm white (3000 K) light and creates exciting light configurations.
