Rounded pendant luminaire with grid-like shape

The Kina pendant luminaire by David Trubridge convinces with its open, grid-like form and provides an eye-catcher on every ceiling. The designer David Trubridge was inspired for the lamp by the New Zealand saltwater sea urchins. The name of the lamp is also derived from the sea urchin. Kina means sea urchin on Māori.

Mounted above a dining table or kitchenette, the luminaire provides pleasant light.

Bamboo wood from sustainable timber indu

David Trubridge is one of the most important representatives of eco and slow design. The bamboo wood used for the lights comes from sustainable forestry and is cut and punched with hydro-powered machines. The luminaires supplied as self-assembly kits are compressed to 3% of their total volume in order to reduce the CO₂ consumption for transport to a minimum. Detailed instructions make it easier to assemble the lampshade.

The Kina pendant luminaire is available in various sizes and natural wood colour combinations.
