Pendant light for 60 light bulbs
The noble pendant luminaire Taraxacum 88 was designed in 1988 by Achille Castiglioni for Flos . According to its name, Castiglioni was inspired by dandelions (lat. Taraxacum) when designing this masterpiece. Whether dandelion, atomic model or soap bubbles, the unusual shape of the pendant lamp gives the viewer room for numerous interpretations.
Taraxacum is a pendant lamp for direct and reflective light. Its structure consists of 20 polished cast aluminium triangles. In order for Taraxacum to develop its full splendour, it must be fitted with 60 globe lamps (60 x 40W or 60 x 25W E 27 IAG).
The ceiling attachment and canopy are made of steel. The steel suspension cable has a useful length of 5.50 m. Stylishly arranged above the dining table or in the hallway, the pendant luminaire sets noble accents and provides a great eye-catcher.
