Chair without armrests with wooden legs
About a Chair by Hay is a collection of chairs with a striking simplicity of design. With it the designer Hee Welling has reached a new level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics.
The chairs from About a Chair are deliberately kept simple and plain and can therefore be easily and simply combined with other furniture. Due to their simplicity, they blend in perfectly with a wide variety of environments and architectural styles, which is why the chairs are also predestined for the contract sector.
According to designer Hee Welling, the About a Chair chairs should feel at home in a restaurant or canteen, as well as in the office, at the home dining table or conference table. In this context, the idea of simplicity became a guarantee for multifunctionality and combinability.
The seat shell without armrests of the About A Chair AAC 12 is made of polypropylene dyed throughout. The four-legged frame is available in oak wood.
Furthermore, About A Chair is available Hay in various combinations of seat shells and base frames, e.g. as a version with steel four-legged frame (AAC16). The seat shells and bases of the AAC series result in numerous combinations that never seem random or unintentional. For personal configurations we will be happy to advise you.
