Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher met each other while their studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and established their design studio "Neuland Industriedesign" in the Bavarian capital in 1999.
Until the year 2005 Eva and Michael applied themselves to the classical industrial design (medical technology, products for the outside area, games and cosmetic). In the year 2005 they began to design furnishing objects for international customers and received several prizes for their work, including the Elle Deco Design Award 2006, a nomination for the Compasso D'Oro 2007, the Chicago good design award, the IF product design award, a nomination for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, and other awards.
Today Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher also work as University lecturers and they share the same credo regarding design: "Products are the expression of an outlook on life. In keeping with changing values and systems, we look for new formulations. In this way, we come to re-evaluate functions and find a new aesthetic expression."
